Tang Peng is associate professor at the school of resources, environment and materials of Guangxi university. His research is focused on advanced manufacturing technologies for instance metal and ceramic Stir Casting, Powder Metallurgy and Additive Manufacturing. He has been developing novel manufacturing routes and applications for transportation, automotive and 3C semiconductor. The scientific emphasis of his research is on material and process interaction. He has been also developing holistic modelling for comprehensive understanding of process and material behaviors. His research portfolio has a research income in excess of ¥1M. His research has been supporting major companies across the china including ALG aluminum, Tebon new materials, yinhai aluminum industry and Guangzhou jinbang non-ferrous alloy. Prof Tang has over 50 journal publications in addition to 13 patents and supervised 14 graduate students.
