He Peng-fei received the Ph.D. degrees in Electronic Science and Technology from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications in 2007, and joined the Institute of Science and Technology for Opto-electronic Information,Yantai University, where he is an associate professor.
His current research areas include Short-range Wireless Communication Technology, Wireless Body Area Networks, Wireless Sensor Network Optimization and FPGA Systems Design. He published more than thirty high-quality academic papers in the aspect of UWB Communication and WSN Signal Processing.
His major participated projects are as followed, From 2001 to 2003, he studied information security of mobile communications and researched on the stray radiation theoretic analysis of mobile terminal units. From 2003 to 2005, as the project manager, he studied the Ethernet Passive Optical Network Systems. Based on the protocol of IEEE802.3ah, the FPGA EPON Ethernet-FTTX access networks were designed. From 2005 to 2008, as his Ph.D. programs, he studied Chirp Spread Spectrum and researched on UWB transmission technology. Since 2009, he researched on the optimization and energy efficiency of Wireless Sensor Network, especially in the Wireless Body Area Network applications
In 2012, he received the project supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China. So far, he participated in the four national scientific research projects and two projects at the provincial level.
