My research is in the field of ecological systems for water pollution control and wastewater treatment. In particular, I am interested in exploring the process mechanisms and environmental factors that are involved in the transformations of pollutants in natural and constructed wetlands. I am also working on the modelling of pollutant removal processes in the water environment.
