Dr Wang received his Ph.D. degree in pharmacology from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and postdoctoral training in the University of Texas Medical Branch. He is a full professor at School of Life Sciences, East China Normal University (ECNU), Shanghai, China. Dr Wang has the honor to win the Youth Pharmacologist Award of Chinese Pharmacological Society in 2016. His research fields include pharmacology and novel models for dug metabolism, such as 3D organoids of transporter protein, CYP knockout rat and humanized rat model using CRISPR. Currently, Dr. Wang is hosting or participating in many projects supported by the Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality and the National Natural Science Foundation of China. Dr Wang has published more than 50 SCI papers in international peer-reviewed journals, such as Nature Communications, Drug Metabolism and Disposition, Biochemical Pharmacology, and Pharmacological Research et al. Moreover, he also edited two pharmacological books, and contributed four book chapters. Meanwhile, he is dedicated to social activities and serves as the editorial board member and ad-hoc reviewer of 38 SCI journals, such as Biochemical Pharmacology, Journal of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Analysis, Journal of Translational Medicine, Phytomedicine, Toxicology Research and Current Drug Metabolism et al.
