Fangqing Gu received the B.S. degree from Changchun University, Jilin, China, in 2007 and the M.S. degree from Guangdong University of Technology, Guangzhou, China, in 2011, the Ph. D degree from the Department of Computer Science in Hong Kong Baptist University. He is currently an associate professor with the School of Mathematics and Statistics, Guangdong University of Technology. His research interests include data mining, machine learning and evolutionary computation.
