Dr. Ferreira is an Associate Professor of Environmental Geodesy in the School of Earth Sciences and Engineering, Hohai University, China. He is interested in enhancing and applying geodetic observations for hydrological studies, and monitoring and understanding environmental changes. He uses novel methods and techniques on the datasets gathered by the space-borne geodetic sensors and is currently developing new algorithms to improve the regional inversion of continental water storages.
