Juhua Yu currently works at Fujian Academy of Agricultural Sciences and Nanjing Institute of Geography and Limnology Chinese Academy of Science. The main research interest and focus of our lab are as following: 1) to explore the exchange and transfer of N, P elements across the sediment-water interface and the root-sediment interface; 2) to reveal the influences of hydrological regimes on N cycling in freshwater ecosystems such as estuarine, lake and reservoir with the emphasization of hyporheic zone; 3) to unravel the driving mechanism of N and P nutrients on eutrophication in freshwater ecosystems, and its subsequent ecological implications, as well as physico-ecological restorations.
