My main research areas including 1, discovery of insecticidal bacteria and insecticidal gene, development and application of bio-pesticides (including Bacillus thuringiensis and other bacteria); 2, utilization of agricultural solid waste by insect transformation. And I have a good experence in microbiology, entomology, molecular biology and biochemistry, microbial ecology and bioinformatics related research techniques.
In recent years, my team has collected about 100,000 samples, isolated more than 10,000 insecticidal strains and cloned more than 200 new insecticidal genes. And established a technology for transforming straw with Protaetia brevitarsis larvae. So far, these results were published 114 papers (including 40 English papers and 74 Chinese papers) and applied 71 patents.
