徐飞,男,教授。2004-2008年在英国南安普顿大学光电子研究中心就读,获工士博士学位。2008年底起受聘南京大学现代工程与应用科学学院量子电子与光学工程系。曾获得国家基金委优秀青年基金资助,是教育部首批海外新世纪人才之一,2004-2007年英国政府海外研究型留学生奖(ORS),2007年获国家留学基金委优秀自费留学生奖。<br>主持科技部973课题1项、国家自然科学基金3项以及江苏省自然基金等项目,作为主要骨干参加了科技部973计划、基金委重大研究计划、江苏省科技支撑计划等多项项目。<br>研究方向主要为小型化光纤传感和激光器,以及纳米尺度的光力和非线性效应等。<br>深入探索了以微光纤为基础的各种超小型光纤器件及其在传感技术上的应用。利用绕制技术制备了系列微光纤三维多环谐振器,并在微光纤中引入若干新型光学微结构,结合现代微加工技术实现了超小型光栅、F-P腔、模式干涉仪和微光纤偏振器件等,进而利用这些微光纤器件研制了新型的物理、化学和生物传感器,并拓展了其在通信和激光等领域的新应用。<br>迄今已发表相关英文专著章节5篇,SCI论文75篇(第一作者和通讯作者47篇),综述2篇,论文共被引近千次。申请和授权发明专利26项,其中PCT 和美国专利3项(两项PCT专利已转让)。<br><br>Dr. Fei Xu received his Ph.D. degree in Optoelectronics in 2008 from Optoelectronics Research Centre, University of Southampton, UK. He is currently a professor in College of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Nanjing University, China. Dr. Xu’s current research interests include developing novel fiber devices for ultra-small sensor and laser systems, optomechanical effect in fiber systems, nonlinear and quantum optics in Lithium Niobate and Silica waveguides. He was awarded the Program for New Century Excellent Talents in University by the Ministry of Education of China, the Program for Excellent Young Scientists by National Science Fund of China. He has authored or coauthored 5 book chapters, over 30 applied/authorized China and USA patents, and over 100 articles in academic journals & international conferences in these areas to date. His papers have been cited more than 900 and 1,300 times in Web of Science and Google Scholar, respectively.
