主要从事海洋碳循环中颗粒有机碳相关的生地化效应及其调控机制研究:包括研究物理、化学等环境因子耦合控制海洋生物碳泵中有机碳固定、传递、输出、矿化等过程;重点关注海洋生源有机碳中化学信号物质的时空分布、对碳氧循环的调控机理、及其生态环境效应,探讨其对全球浮游植物藻华周期、海洋缺氧问题、颗粒有机碳输出通量与矿化机制等方面的影响。已发表学术论文30余篇,其中中科院2区以上SCI论文20余篇,包括JGR-Biogeosciences、Progress in Oceanography、Biogeosciences、JGR-Oceans、Limnology and Oceanography、Marine Ecology Progress Series、Deep-Sea Research等刊源。近年主持国家自然科学基金和广东省自然科学基金3项、厦门大学近海海洋环境科学国家重点实验室开放基金1项;参与国家重点研发计划项目课题2项、国家自然科学基金项目多项、南方海洋科学与工程广东省实验室(广州)重大专项等。应邀为Marine Chemistry、科学通报等多个学术期刊审稿,国家自然科学基金、广东省自然科学基金通信评审。
研究领域:海洋颗粒有机碳(POC)相关的生地化循环过程及调控机制。
1. 宏观生地化格局及形成机制。有机质颗粒、及其活性组分(化学信号物质)的时空分布规律,及其形成的理化控制机制。
2. 微观生态过程及生地化应用。有机质颗粒中的活性组分(化学信号物质)对微生物矿化颗粒物的微观调控机制、及其影响到碳输出和碳封存方面的潜力。
