Dr. Mao Li (李茂) is group leader of Organic/Inorganic Nanomaterials Group. Li was born and raised in Heilongjiang, China. He received his Ph.D degree in 2007 at State Key Laboratory of Supramolecular Structure and Materials, Jilin University, where he performed his PhD research in electrochemical fabrication of conducting and electroactive polymers for organic electronics under the supervision of Prof. Yuguang Ma (马於光). From 2007-2013, he served as postdoc researcher and worked with Prof. Michael Bendikov (as Feinberg Postdoc Fellow, Weizmann Institute of Science, Israel), Prof. Héctor D. Abruña (Cornell University, USA) and Prof. Katsuhiko Ariga (as MANA and JSPS Postdoc Fellow, National Institute for Materials Science, Japan). From Jan 2013, he became a full professor in State Key Laboratory of Polymer Physics and Chemistry (CIAC), Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). In 2014, he was selected and supported by the Hundred Talent Program of CAS, China. His research areas are mainly focus on low-doped electrochemical fabrication methodology. Dr. Li is reserved, but can be outgoing if necessary. Outside of the office, he enjoys outdoor camping, swimming and photography.
