My name is shamshad khan. Now I am doing the PhD in Northwestern Polytechnical University China. I doing the research on the” Transport of copper as affected by Titania nanoparticles as function of DOM in Soil; It is well known for decades that dissolved organic matter (DOM) and nanoparticles play important role in the transportation, solubility, and sorption of heavy metals in the soil environment. Environmental nanoparticles are nanometer-sized (~1–100 nm) crystalline to amorphous solid materials formed in nature, which are increasingly used for a variety of commercial purposes such as fillers, opacifiers, catalysts, semiconductors, cosmetics, microelectronics, and drug carriers The colloidal behavior of engineered nanomaterials exposed in a soil environment may significantly influence their bioavailability as well as toxicity to different species. Natural organic matter (NOM) is one of the major colloidal materials ubiquitous in the environment with significant structural heterogeneity. The colloidal behavior of the NPs is one of the prime factors that define their environmental fate, transport, and toxicity. Solution parameters such as pH, ionic strengths, and nature of electrolytes may strongly affect the colloidal stability of the pure NPs. Therefore, role of NOM molecules on environmental fate of these engineered NPs on the heavy metals needs to be addressed.
