Dr. Li is the director of Laboratory of Motor Control and Rehabilitation and an associate professor at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering, School of Control Science and Engineering, Shandong University. Dr. Li received his BS from Zhejiang University (China) in 2003, and obtained his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from University of Technology of Troyes (France) in 2010, and completed his postdoctoral training at Cleveland Clinic (USA) in 2013. Both his Ph.D. and postdoctoral studies have been focused on human movement science, biomechanics, nonlinear bio-signal analysis and rehabilitation engineering. Dr. Li has completed funded research projects from European Social Fund, National Agency of Research (France), National Institutes of Health (USA), National Natural Science Foundation of China, Ministry of Education of China, National High-tech R&D (863) Program of China as principle investigator or co-investigator. Together with his colleagues, Dr. Li has published more than 30 peer-reviewed articles in high-profile journals and professional conferences. Dr. Li has been awarded the Savio & Pattie Woo Fellowship from World Association for Chinese Biomedical Engineers and International Travelling Fellowship from World Association of Biomechanics.
