I am interested in pursuing research uniting ecological and engineering principles through the study of hydraulics in aquatic ecosystems. The ecology of physical disturbances (chronic and acute) in fish community and the fish behavior in different flow patterns are of particular interest. Restoration and other engineered manipulations of river channel to biological communities are my long-term research interests. The researches of using physical model tests optimize the hydropower’s dissipater layout and optimize the river navigation project flow condition are also my interests working content.
