Dr. Liyong Ren is currently a professor in the School of Physics and Information Technology at ShaanXi Normal University. He completed his Ph. D degree in Optical Engineering at Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics of CAS in 2004, and S.M. degree in Optics as well as S.B. degree in Optoelectronics from Northwest University in 2000 and 1995, respectively. He has ever worked in Northwest University from 1995 to 2001, Xi'an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics of CAS from 2004 to 2019. He has ever been a JSPS Postdoctoral Fellow in University of Electro-Communications from 2007 to 2009. His research interests include polarimetric imaging, micro/nano-optics and fiber optics, etc. He has published more than 110 peer-reviewed journal papers and obtained more than 10 Chinese patents. He has attended more than 60 international or domestic conferences and published more than 80 conference papers. He is a Senior member of SPIE, OSA and COS.
