摘要
this is a survey of epilithic diatom biodiversity of sellaphorineae from monjolinho river, in sˋo carlos district, sˋo paulo state. the taxonomic study was carried out based on 33 samples collected between may and october 1998 at six selected stations. thirty one specific and infraspecific taxa were identified; twenty nine of these were recorded for the first time in sˋo paulo state.
