La transferencia de conocimientos desde las Humanidades: posibilidades y caracter赤sticas

This article analyzes the specific features that characterise knowledge transfer from Social Sciences and Humanities research groups to their socioeconomic environment. First, it shows that knowledge transfer is a complex and evolving concept. Second, to capture this complexity we identify the factors that affect knowledge transfer following Bozeman＊s model (2000). We then apply the model to the empirical data obtained from interviews with heads of research groups in the Spanish Council for Scientific Research. The results show that the characteristics of the transfer process (in terms of the type of agents involved, the content of the transfer, dissemination mechanisms, receivers and the contextual factors, barriers to transfer) are very different in the social sciences and humanities from those prevalent in the experimental sciences and engineering. Consequently the policies to support efficient knowledge transfer must also be different and tailored to the specific characteristics of knowledge and production and use in the social sciences and humanities. En este art赤culo se analizan las caracter赤sticas de la transferencia de conocimiento desde unas disciplinas concretas, las humanidades y ciencias humanas, hacia sus respectivos sectores de aplicaci車n. En primer lugar, se pone en evidencia que la transferencia de conocimiento es un concepto complejo y en evoluci車n. En segundo lugar, se caracteriza la transferencia de conocimiento en estas disciplinas; para ello, se analizan los factores que influyen en la transferencia sobre la base del modelo de Bozeman (2000) y de la informaci車n obtenida a partir de entrevistas realizadas a responsables de grupos de investigaci車n de este 芍mbito en el Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Cient赤ficas. Los resultados obtenidos muestran que las caracter赤sticas de las diversas dimensiones del proceso de transferencia (agentes, contenidos, medios, destinatarios y entorno), las barreras y los mecanismos m芍s adecuados para lograr una eficiente transferencia de conocimiento, son notablemente diferentes en las humanidades que las que se dan en las ciencias experimentales o las ingenier赤as.
