Design of Radiation Dose Reader Based on Area Array OSL Optical Fiber Dosimeters [面阵光释光光纤剂量计测量系统设计]

Radiation dose reader based on area array optical stimulated luminescence (OSL) optical fiber dosimeters is used to measure the dose distribution of radiation field. The 5×5 area array OSL optical fiber dosimeters were developed by using Al2O3:C crystals as radiation detectors. The dose data of radiation field were obtained by the point by point scanning method after exposed to X rays, and the performance of the system was evaluated preliminarily. This paper mainly introduces the principle of the system and the composition of the hardware circuit and the software programming.
