摘要
Basic properties of direct coal liquefaction residue (CLR) are systematically introduced. Latest research progress in utilizing CLR to prepare high value-added carbon materials is summarized in detail, including porous carbon, carbon nanotube, carbon fiber, carbon-containing composites, and mesophase asphalt. The applications of these carbon materials in catalysis, electrochemical energy storage, wave absorption and so on are also demonstrated.
