Se aborda el uso de la vigilancia estrat谷gica en una de sus vertientes, el denominado an芍lisis de tendencias. Se formaliza una metodolog赤a de uso, aplicable a las organizaciones de informaci車n que tributan a los centros de investigaci車n y desarrollo (I+D), ubicados en el campo de la salud, las ciencias biom谷dicas y el medio ambiente, a partir de un caso de estudio, 迆til a los profesionales de la informaci車n para responder a las inquietudes y necesidades de ejecuci車n del an芍lisis de tendencias en Internet. Se adopta el enfoque de cliente desde el inicio del servicio y se expone el algoritmo de ejecuci車n. Se presentan y explican cada una de las etapas y tareas, sus caracter赤sticas intr赤nsecas. Se ejemplifica cada paso enunciado. Se aborda el c iclo del an芍lisis de Informaci車n como premisa para la ejecuci車n del algoritmo. The use of one of the fields of strategic surveillance, called trend analysis, is dealth with. A methodology of use, applicable to the information organizations that contribute to the centers of investigation and development (I + D), in health, biomedical sciences and environment is formalized, using a study case that is useful for the information professionals to respond to the disquiets and needs of the analysis of Internet tendencies. The client%26apos;s approach is adopted since the beginning of the service, and the execution algorithm is exposed. Each of the phases and tasks, as well as their intrinsic characteristics are presented and explained. Each enunciated step is illustrated with examples. The information analysis cycle is analysed as a premise for the carrying out of the algorithm.
