摘要
The gas film lubrication performance was investigated using numerical calculation.The results show that the variations of the U-shaped slider,both sides slider and the trailing intermediate slider of the magnetic head makes the dynamic pressure air flow changes,which affects the pressure distribution of the gas film; with the increase of the crown radius,the gas film carrying capacity nonlinearly increase; the variation of the main recess makes negative pressure increases,positive pressure decreases,the decline of the overall carrying capacity helps to reduce the head flying height.In actual head structure design,the slider distribution and shape design of the surface structure have important influence on the magnetic head flight attitude and film stiffness,it is necessary to optimize the surface structure and take experimental testing,to achieve the purpose of increasing the capacity of magnetic storage.
