<正>Padmasambhava was a great Acarya in Tibet when Tantric Buddhism was first propagated there,and he was,highly esteemed by the Buddhists in Tibet,who designated him as "Sans-rgyas gnispa" (the Second Buddha).From him evolved the Rnin-ma-pa Sect in Tibet.The establishment and flourishing of Buddhism during the earlier period of propagation in Tibet were chiefly due to his activities.His influence upon the later development of Tibetan Buddhism was immense.
