摘要

The application of numerical simulation technology in the die casting magnesium alloy pedal was introducted. First, the gating system scheme and the technological parameters were determined by analysis, and a numerical model of the pedal was established based on the ProCAST software. Then the numerical simulation of the die casting process was carried out by the ProCAST software. The results were predicted including fluidity, gas hole and shrinkage and so on.Finally, some measures were presented to optimize the gating system and parameters. The results show that the optimized scheme is feasible.
