摘要

Uniaxial tension specimen shearing die and sheared edge tension test based on digital image correlation (DIC) were used to investigate the influence of blanking clearance (0.08t, 0.12t, 0.17t and 0.25t) and punch edge angle (0°,5° and 10°) on shearing cross-section quality and edge tensile formability for ultra high strength steel TRIP780. Based on the tracking of fracture process by DIC, the mechanism of edge crack initiation and propagation was revealed. The experiment results show that as the blanking clearance increases, the shearing cross-section quality and edge tensile formability decrease gradually. Relatively superior and stable shearing cross-section quality and tensile formability can be achieved if the die clearance is set as 0.08t or 0.12t. When blanking with punch edge angle of 5° or 10°, the percentage of the burnished zone and burr both decrease and tensile formability is significantly improved to a high level. In terms of the fracture mode, if the edge quality is bad, the crack starts at the sheared edge of specimen and finally shows a cross-inclined mixed fracture. The length of transverse crack has a close relationship with edge quality.
