摘要
A ns-level fast time response preamplifier is designed. The amplifier is composed of a two-stage cascaded RF amplifier chip and an LC low-pass filter circuit. Using ADS software to simulate the preamplifier, the simulation results show that the maximum gain of the designed amplifier within 1 M-2 GHz is 45 dB, and the input and output return loss are less than -10 dB; the amplifier is detected with JW-SCN5 Schottky silicon carbide The 241Am-Be neutron source was used for the nuclear impulse signal response test. The test results showed that the output signal rise time of the preamplifier was about 1ns.
