摘要

This article looks into the factors favouring or not the use of prescriptive software by maintenance technicians. To do this we carry out – with their consent – filmed observations of 8 technicians with different levels of experience (two inexperienced, two moderately experienced and four experienced). The analysis of the filmed observations enables us to elicit chronicles of activity giving a detailed description of the technicians’ activity. Tabling on these chronicles, we carry out interviews of auto-confrontation. The results bring to light the different habits in function of the experience. Moreover, the interviews reveal that software is necessary for inexperienced technicians. With these results, we can propose to the software creators improvements that will lead to its optimal use by technicians.
