A New Chinese Flowering Cabbage Cultivar‘Yuetai 1’ [菜薹新品种‘粤薹 1 号’]

‘Yuetai 1’which cultivated by cross breeding is a mid-maturing flowering Chinese cabbage. The leaves are oval, laurel-green, 23.0 cm in length and 18.0 cm in width. Main sprouts are 44.9 cm high, 3.5 cm thick. The coverage sprout weight is 423.4 g. Sprout color is laurel-green. It taste crisp and sweet. ‘Yuetai 1’showed wide adaptability, strong resistance to anthracnose and soft rot. The yield is up to 15 430.5 kg ? hm-2 in spring and 36 634.05 kg ? hm-2 in autumn.
