摘要
In this paper 3 kind of sand (limestone manufactured sand, granite manufactured sand and natural sand) was investigated.The shape parameter of sand was got by digital image proceed (DIP).And then combined with 48 gradations of sand, the influence of shape and gradation on packing porosity of fine aggregate was studied.And then the slurry wrapping layer thickness of mortar was introduced to calculate the required wrapping layer thickness of the single particle level through the ratio sand to cement when the flow of mortar up to standard performance (195±5) mm at water-cement ratio of 0.5.The results show that mortar can get similar workability at different gradation of sand when the slurry wrapping layer is the same.Besides, different sand with different shape need different slurry wrapping layer thickness to get the same workability of mortar.So the slurry wrapping layer thickness can be used to well connect the shape and gradation of sand with rheological properties of mortar.
