摘要

To study the effect laws of the cylinder wall region on the metal flow, microstructure and mechanical properties of aluminum alloy scroll body with variable diameter, taking the static and moving disks in the scroll region with and without cylinder wall region with the minimum aspect ratio of 3. 9 as the research objects, the finite element simulation of flow control forming process was carried out by Deform-3D software and verified by physical experiments. The influence of cylinder wall region on the distribution of metal split flow lines was analyzed. The distribution of strain and stress around the split flow lines, as well as the microstructure and mechanical properties of characteristic regions were studied. The results show that split flow lines are distributed in the middle of ribs of moving disks without the cylinder wall region. Due to the presence of cylinder wall region, when the travel of die is 0%-80%, there are no multiple split flow lines in the middle of ribs of static disks with cylinder wall region. When the travel of die is more than 80%, the metal in the web between the static disks with cylinder wall region and the scroll body begins to fill the scroll body cavity and the split flow lines appear. The split flow lines are biased to the scroll body cavity side. The metal flow lines are closely distributed in the corner of the scroll body near the split flow line, and the equivalent stress, equivalent strain and temperature appreciation are the largest. ? 2023 Beijing Res.
