The treatment of unbalanced funds in the electricity market is a problem related to pricing and settlement, which has a great impact on the fairness and efficiency of the market, and has attracted much attention in the trial operation of China's electricity spot market, but there is a lack of systematic and mechanism analysis in research. This paper classifies the causes of unbalanced funds from the perspectives of market entities, mechanism design and multi-product pricing, and identifies the types of various unbalanced funds in the actual market; analyzes the formation mechanism of various types of unbalanced funds, including product conversion, price variation, volume price inequality, and direct pricing mechanism not satisfying participation constraints, and puts forward suggestions on the treatment of unbalanced funds from the perspectives of market efficiency and social welfare, and points out the enlightenment for the construction of China's electricity market; makes suggestions on the treatment of unbalanced funds from the perspectives of market efficiency and social welfare, and points out the enlightenment to China's electricity market. ? 2023 Power System Technology Press.
