With the increasing of people's health requirements, the demand for health maintenance products continues to increase. The herbal health products, especially food derived from natural medicinal resources health care products with traditional Chinese medicine as raw materials, medicine and food products with the same origin, herbal cuisine, etc., have becoming the hotspot at home and abroad. However, there is no unified definition of herbal health products. In this paper, the regulatory agencies, laws and regulations, market situation are introduced in order to provide support for R&D of herbal health products derived from natural medicinal substances.
