摘要
The possibility of utilizing low calciferous rock and blende tails in the cement industry has been studied. By means of the burnability test, the DTA analysis of the raw meal, the determination of XRD, and the analysis of the hydration heat at the early period as well as the petrographic analysis of the clinker, the paper discusses the effects of the low calciferous rock and blende tails as a different component on the formation of the clinker minerals and on their structure as well. The results of laboratory study and the application in industry both show clearly that the utilization of low calciferous rock and blende tails can not only replace the clay component in the raw meal, but also act as a very effective compound mineralizer. This new technology improves the burnability of the raw meal and contributes a lot to the formation of the clinker minerals. Thus, it can increase the production capability of the kilns and save energy. The paper gives us some new insight into the application of mineralizers in the cement industry.
