an analysis is made of the use of hinari and ebsco databases, yearly subscribed by the national centre of information of medical sciences-infomed for all the users of the domain sld.cu. some of the benefits that offer these bases are exposed. in the case of secimed and cumed, the scarce participation of the cooperation centres in the project is analyzed.
