Design of Kicker High Voltage Charging Power Supply [Kicker高压充电电源设计]

摘要

In order to meet the requirement of high-frequency injection and extraction of beam of High Intensity Heavy-ion Accelerator Facility, a high-voltage high-power Kicker charging power supply has been designed. The power supply adopts the technology of series resonance to realize zero current switching on and off. Its voltage can be adjusted in the range of 0~20 kV with an average charging speed of 16 kJ/s and maximum output power of 32 kW. The test results show that the measured waveforms agree with the simulation results, which indicates the power supply meets the performance requirements of the injection and extraction system of High Intensity Heavy-ion Accelerator Facility.
