Beam Emittance Measurement of High Energy Electron Radiography Experimental Platform [高能电子成像实验平台束流发射度测试]

We have designed an experiment based on the 'quadruple scan method' to measure the beam emittance at the Lanzhou High Energy Electron Radiography experimental platform. Mainly using a YAG screen and a CCD camera to get beam profiles, and a GUI code is written to realizing the image processing and emittance calculation. With the characteristics of convenient measurement, fast and reliable calculation, this measurement provides the basis for subsequent High Energy Electron Radiography experiments. The measurement results show that the xdirection emittance is close to the theoretical calculation, and the y-direction emittance is far from the theoretical calculation. It is necessary to further optimize and commissioning the accelerator.
