摘要
<正>Soil salinization is a profound challenge worldwide and severely limits the land usage for food production feeding ever increasing populations. Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations(FAO) estimated that about 424 million hectares of topsoil(0–30 cm) and 838 million hectares of subsoil(30–100 cm) are salt-affected, among which many are alkaline soils consisting of carbonate and bicarbonate salts. Alkaline-saline soils not only cause ion toxicity due to high salt concentrations, but the alkaline p H of the soils also results in deleterious effects on plant growth and development [1]. Interestingly, in the last two decades much attention has been paid to plant response to salt stress,
