<正>Yang Wen-hui (楊文會),alias,Yang Jen-shan (楊仁山),a native of Shih-ti (石棣)district of Anwhei(安徽) province,was born in 1837 (the 17th year of Tao-kuang of the Ch’ing dynasty).From childhood he was taught to read the Chinese classics,but he had no liking for the competitive examination.
