摘要
teaching of dermatology is little valorized in medical courses, and sexually transmitted diseases are generally presented to the students in a non-systematized way. in a study about the teaching of dermatology, only ten out of 83 medical doctors taking part in the project correctly answered a question about syphilis serology. more research regarding the teaching of the sexually transmitted diseases is needed in our country. moreover, dermatologists should take the opportunity brought about by the current discussion on the re-elaboration of medical course curricula to retake the responsibility on teaching about these diseases.
