Miguel Querol is mainly known as musicologist, although he was deeply interested in Philosophy and, specifically, in aesthetics and music thought. In this field, he wrote several articles on Joan Maragall, one of his favourite poets, besides vocal music based on texts by him, noteworthy the Cant espiritual. In this work we study how the latter piece synthesizes the style and thinking of both artists, becoming a reflection on art, creativity and the human being. Our approach is based on the analysis and comparison between the aesthetic postulates adopted by Querol and Maragall and the musical resources of Cant espiritual. Miguel Querol es conocido sobre todo como music車logo, pero uno de los temas que m芍s le interes車 fue la filosof赤a y, en concreto, el pensamiento est谷tico y musical. En este aspecto, Querol sinti車 especial predilecci車n por Joan Maragall, sobre quien hizo diversos art赤culos y del que music車 algunos poemas, entre los cuales destaca el Cant espiritual. En este trabajo, a partir del an芍lisis y la comparaci車n entre los postulados est谷ticos de Querol y Maragall y los recursos musicales del Cant espiritual, se estudia c車mo esta pieza sintetiza el pensamiento y estilo de ambos autores, convirti谷ndose en una reflexi車n sobre el arte, la capacidad creativa del hombre y el ser humano en s赤.
