摘要
To evaluate springing loads acting on ultra-large ships and their effects on structural fatigue damage, a hybrid FEM-BEM algorithm and spectral analysis method is developed. Hull vibration mode characteristics are obtained by 3D finite element analysis. Stress response functions are then obtained by modal superposition of principal coordinates and stress modal shapes are obtained by FEM. Fatigue cumulative damage caused by both wave load and springing load is calculated with spectral analysis method. This study indicates that evaluation of high-frequency springing response and their effects on hull structural fatigue damage with the proposed method is reasonable.
