Research on Public Transport Service Quality Based on the Rasch Model [基于Rasch模型的公交服务质量研究]

The service quality of conventional public transportation is an important factor affecting passengers' public transportation. According to the conventional bus trip chain, this paper put forward four evaluation indexes of bus service quality, including bus station accessibility, bus waiting expectation, bus system mobility and transfer connection, and analyzed the data by using Rasch model. According to the analysis, travelers are least satisfied with the transfer service in public transportation service. It is also found that some demographic characters, such as gender, age, education, monthly income, and car ownership, do not influence travelers' evaluation of the service quality of the public transit. while occupation, travel purpose and bus frequency will affect travelers' subjective evaluation.
