摘要
We reported the microstructures characterization of highly porous activated carbon made of coconut-shell,a promising adsorption material for cryogenic adsorption pump installed in Neural Beam Injector. The influence of the microstructures, including the specific surface-area,specific surface-area of micro-pore,specific pore volume and pore-size distribution of the six activated carbon types (labeled as ACs1-6),on cryoadsorption isotherm was experimentally evaluated, theoretically analyzed in BET theory,t-plot and DFT methods. The preliminary results show that when it comes to cryoadsorption,AC1 and AC2 outperform the four other activated-carbon types because of larger specific surface-area,bigger specific pore volume and higher adsorption capacity.Adsorption of AC1 and AC2,in a situation of large amount of gas and long-pulse gas injection, remains to be studied. ? 2019, Journal of Vacuum Science and Technology Publishing House.
