This article has two objectives. On the one hand, to show to what extent the study of collective urban ceremonies, and specifically royal entries, in Barcelona in the late Middle Ages, is able to furnish useful information for our knowledge of the artesan class and its associations. At the same time, focusing on the participation of the said class in the above mentioned ceremonies can help to make more vivid the image which we have of these events. Dos son los objetivos que confluyen en este art赤culo. Por un lado, mostrar hasta qu谷 punto el estudio de las ceremonias colectivas urbanas, y en concreto de las entradas reales, en la Barcelona bajomedieval, es capaz de suministrar informaci車n 迆til para el conocimiento del estamento artesanal y de sus mecanismos asociativos. Al mismo tiempo, la atenci車n sobre la participaci車n de dicho estamento en las mencionadas ceremonias puede contribuir a dinamizar la visi車n, en ocasiones excesivamente esc谷nica, que poseemos de dichos eventos.
