摘要

Lanthanide ions doped white-light upconversion materials have important applications in solid state lighting, liquid crystal display and information anti-counterfeiting. However, previous research mainly focus on inert matrix materials, which are difficult to significantly increase the concentration of sensitizer, limiting the emission intensity of white-light upconversion. Herein, a LiYbF4@LiYF4 core-shell nanostructure design is proposed. By using the sensitizing LiYbF4 nanocrystals as host doping with appropriate concentrations of Er3+ and Tm3+ activators, white-light upconversion emission is successfully achieved under 980 nm excitation. The LiYbF4∶Er/Tm@LiYbF4@LiYF4∶Nd core-shell-shell nanostructure is further designed to realize the white-light emission under 980 and 808 nm dual-channel excitation through using additional sensitizer Nd3+. Finally, a package of both white-light upconversion nanoparticles and 940 nm near-infrared chips into LED device contributes to bright white-light emission by applying 300 mA current, showing great potential in white LED. ? 2024 Chinese Medical Association.
