Uno de los descubrimientos m芍s notables durante los 迆ltimos a os en el campo de la medicina alternativa es el empleo del ozono como agente terap谷utico. No obstante, a pesar de la pr芍ctica cada vez m芍s extendida de la ozonoterapia en el mundo, existen todav赤a aspectos contradictorios alrededor de su aceptaci車n como t谷cnica terap谷utica, y algunos medios de comunicaci車n han afirmado que no existe evidencia cient赤fica que acredite sus supuestas ventajas. El presente trabajo constituye un estudio bibliom谷trico con el objetivo de identificar y analizar la producci車n cient赤fica sobre aplicaciones terap谷uticas del ozono existente en el Web of Science. Se recuperaron 117 art赤culos sobre le tem芍tica. Se identific車 el 赤ndice de asociaci車n de los autores; los autores, revistas y pa赤ses m芍s productivos; los art赤culos m芍s citados; las redes de colaboraci車n internacionales; las especialidades m芍s beneficiadas; y los padecimientos m芍s tratados con la ozonoterapia. A pesar de la escasa producci車n cient赤fica sobre las aplicaciones terap谷uticas del ozono recogida en el Web of Science, se observ車 un crecimiento exponencial de esta durante la 迆ltima d谷cada, as赤 como una amplia gama de patolog赤as que registraron sus efectos positivos. Ello confirm車 la existencia de una evidencia cient赤ficamente v芍lida que acredita su uso como t谷cnica terap谷utica en la pr芍ctica cl赤nica. One of the most remarkable discoveries during the last years in the field of Alternative Medicine is the use of Ozone as therapeutic agent. Nevertheless, in spite of the increasingly extended practice of Ozone therapy in the world, contradictory aspects about their acceptance as a therapeutic technique still exist, and some mass media have asserted that there is no scientific evidence that supports their supposed advantages. The current work is a bibliometric study of the Web of Science, aimed at identifying and analysing the scientific production on therapeutic applications of Ozone. A total of 117 articles were retrieved. The authors%26apos; association index; the most productive authors, journals and countries; the most cited articles; the international cooperation networks; the most benefited specialties; and the most ozone-treated illnesses were identified. Despite the scanty scientific production on the ozone therapeutic applications gathered in the Web of Science, an exponential growth of the articles during the last decade was observed, as well as a wide range of pathologies that registered their positive effects, which confirmed the existence of a scientifically valid evidence that supports its use as a ther
