This essay thoroughly studies the last stage of Virgilio Pi era Llera＊s dramatic production and the biographical and political context in which it was written. This is to be done by means of the study of El trac (1974). It is highlighted the image of a dynamic Pi era in his work as playwright. So, he was able to adapt and melt the main worries that had been the core of his work till that very moment. A trav谷s del an芍lisis de El trac (1974) se repasa la fase final de la producci車n teatral de Virgilio Pi era, as赤 como las circunstancias vitales y pol赤ticas que la rodearon. Se enfatiza la visi車n de un Pi era din芍mico en su quehacer como dramaturgo, capaz de aprovechar las 迆ltimas corrientes teatrales y fundirlas con las preocupaciones vertebrales que hasta entonces hab赤an determinado sus piezas.
