O percolado pode conter diversas substancias qu赤micas com caracter赤sticas t車xicas, dentre elas os metais pesados oriundos de v芍rios materiais provenientes de ind迆strias, atividades agr赤colas, laborat車rios, hospitais, resid那ncias. A contamina o pormetais apresenta amplo espectro de toxicidade que inclui efeitos neurot車xicos, hepat車xicos, nefrot車xicos, teratog那nicos, carcinog那nicos ou mutag那nicos. O objetivo deste trabalho foi aavalia o dos n赤veis de Cd, Cr, Cu, Mn, Ni, Pb e Zn do percolado gerado no aterro sanit芍rio de Paranava赤 - PR. As amostras foram coletadas a partir de setembro de 2006 a julho de 2007, em quatro pontos distintos nas lagoas de tratamento. Para detec o dosmetais utilizou-se o espectrofot metro de absor o at mica com chama. Os resultados foram comparados com os limites m芍ximos de concentra o de metais em efluentes l赤quidos estabelecidos pela Resolu o 397/2008 - Conama (BRASIL, 2008). Verificou-se que os n赤veis dos metais analisados, com exce o do Pb, est o dentro dos limites permiss赤veispela legisla o ambiental. Percolated liquid may contain several chemical substances with toxic characteristics, among them heavy metals from industrial sources, agricultural activities, laboratories, hospitals and residences. Metal contamination presents a wide array of toxicities, such as neurotoxic, hepatotoxic, nephrotoxic, teratogenic, carcinogenic or mutagenic effects. The objective of this work was to assess the levels of Cd, Cr, Cu, Mn, Ni, Pb, and Zn in percolated liquid produced at the sanitary landfill in Paranava赤. The samples were collected from September of 2006 to July of 2007, at fourdistinct places of the treatment lake. An atomic absorption spectrophotometer with a burner was used to detect the metals. The results were compared with the maximum allowed values for metal concentration present in Resolution 397/2008 每 Conama (BRAZIL, 2008).It was verified that the level of analyzed metals, except of Pb, are all within the limits allowed by the environmental legislation.
