In 2018, the Department of Chemical Sciences of National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) reorganized and optimized the disciplines, which leads to the establishment of a new discipline of Synthetic Chemistry with a subcode of B01. The discipline of Synthetic Chemistry (B01) covers grant applications from many research fields, such as traditional inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, polymer chemistry, supramolecular chemistry and others.
