摘要

As a typical representative of porous materials, honeycomb sandwich structures are widely used in many important fields such as aerospace, vehicles, ships and so on. So there is great importance to study on their mechanical properties. In this paper, the external equivalent elastic modulus and shear modulus of the new quasi-honeycomb core are given based on the strain energy equivalent theory and the finite element simulations are used to verify the theoretical solutions. It is found that the errors between numerical simulation results and theoretical solutions are within 10%, which verifies the correctness of the mechanical equivalent model of the quasi-honeycomb core. The results presented in this paper improve the study of the new quasi-honeycomb core in mechanical properties, and it also provides a theoretical basis for the new honeycomb sandwich's application and promotion in engineering practice.
