摘要
a historical and theoretical approach to the figure of the information user is made. the user as the main element of an information system, as well as the importance of his correct study and understanding for an adequate design of information products and services, are approached. the information user subject is conceptualized and a historical analysis of his paradigms is made. finally, two important perspectives or theories related to the study of the users are presented.
